About Mick
A local plasterer since 1982
Plasterer, renderer and screeder, working for homeowners and businesses across Essex.
Mick Hucker started plastering in 1982. He began by working for other people, but it wasn’t long before he went out on his own, and he has traded as Mick Hucker Plastering Services since the mid-80s.
Going self-employed was a gamble: he and his wife had just had their first child. Careful work, fair prices and customers who passed his name on made it pay off. The family has grown since, and Mick is now a proud grandad.
For years he worked from Grays in Thurrock, across Essex, London and Kent. He has since moved to Great Bentley, near Colchester, and now works across north Essex.
